Run a calm fitting trial
Fit the accessory according to its instructions and begin with an empty container. Check reach, brakes, armrests, foot supports, folding, propulsion and transfers. Add cool water, then travel slowly through a representative doorway and over a permitted surface. Stop to inspect clamp position, cup angle and any contact marks. Repeat removal and refitting if that will be part of the daily routine. The trial should involve the person who will use or assist with the holder. Keep a short ownership record
